Creationism: Science or Religion?

The battle today over evolution versus creation is one of the hottest and we need to fight where the battle is hottest. While there has been a renaissance in the teaching of creationism, there has been a collapse of many of the basic pillars supporting evolution.

Evolution is not a fact. It is not even a theory. Not only is it not a theory, it is not even a scientific hypothesis, because it cannot be falsified. Furthermore, evolution, as many scientists have said, flies in the face of established scientific laws. It is based upon belief in the reality of unseen fossils that cannot be produced, belief in embryological evidence that does not exist, and belief in breeding experiments that refuse to come off.

Biblical creationism takes the first several chapters of Genesis and teaches that God created the heavens and the earth in six days, creating all that there is, creating man and woman out of man, and resting on the seventh day.

Scientific creationism deals with the evidence that would answer the key question: Did life arise gradually, as evolutionists say, or did it arise abruptly? It considers evidence from biology, geology, and paleontology, etc. Creationism violates none of the laws of science as evolution does, but is in complete harmony with them.

You cannot have a world governed by random chance and at the same time a world which is governed by Divine providence. They cannot fit together. Once you lose the Creator, you have lost all spiritual values and life loses its meaning. If life is a cosmic accident, there are no moral absolutes.
